By Leslie Samuel | Podcasts

Nov 15

Yes, you read that correctly. I don't really care about Blogging.

I know what you're thinking. This blog is called Become a Blogger. I HAVE TO care about blogging.

If that's what you're thinking, don't worry – I understand. But I'm going to encourage you to listen to today's episode.

Listen to This Episode

In the episode, I get kinda personal and share the journey I've been on for the last few weeks.

There are certain things changing in my life, and I'm happy to share a little bit of my story with you.

This is not one of my typical episodes, but I hope you get a different kind of value from it.

Enjoy!

– Leslie

Here's the video I referred to in the episode:

WOW! Praise God! I’ve been following His voice for the majority of my life and you’ve hit it right on the head Leslie. Always – always – you must say YES to God. He has a plan and each of us is part of it. That’s how this world will become what He envisions.
Here am I in the later cusp of my life and He’s still leading me – this time into Blogging on a subject that everyone says is ludicrous but I’m doing what He says to do. There may be only one person that I’m able to touch, but He needs that one, so I do what He says.
Thank you so very much for sharing your journey with us.
    Love, Hugs, and Prayers,

Hi Leslie! I just want you to know because of your “Playing it Safe” talk and the latest podcast, I’ve been led in a different direction with my blogging. That’s why I was not on the coaching calls last week because it’s a really big thing for me and very scary and I’m getting my head straight about it and making plans. I have to go all out and get out of my comfort zone to do this. I’m praising God for this guidance as sent through you. Thank you! Talk to you soon, Love and Hugs, Barb

    • Awesomeness Barbara. Glad to hear that you are taking risks and going where you feel called. That’s the best way to do it in my opinion. Talk to you soon indeed.

Thank you Leslie I am only 57 years old and God has given me so much. When I wake up in the morning I say that today I am working for God. Your message is clear and you are having a strong impact on my life. Today I am hoping and asking God to allow me to give back.

  • HappyAndBlessedHome says:

As always Leslie – very inspirational! I need to watch your presentation on not playing it safe. Maybe it will help be a bit more bold, a bit more courageous in the things I need to do. I think what’s exciting is to see you as a leader who listens to God and follows His “Call to Action”. I’m just thankful we’ve met and that I get to see how uses you in the future. I’ll be cheering you on!

    • HappyAndBlessedHome says:

I watched your presentation and was reminded of somthing I have often thought, “If it’s not from you Lord, I don’t want it.” Your presentation is a wonderful reminder.

    • Well I’m VERY thankful that we’ve met Monica. And looking forward to following your journey!

  • Do something indeed. I love it.

  • Johnny Lee Phillips says:

Fantastic talk Leslie. I too was a poor student. I have many similarities in my story. I really enjoy your teaching style and the inspiration it brings. I look forward to seeing your journey and I’m glad to be a part of Become a Blogger Coaching Club. Hopefully you will still be doing that for a while longer!

    • And I’m glad to have you as a member of the coaching club. You’re gonna do awesome things in this world and I’m thrilled to be able to have a front-row seat 😉

Well spoken and very inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

    Hey Leslie,
Long time listener, first time poster.
I almost turned off this cast, I am so encouraged by it that I am stoked that I didn’t. I am a lecturer at a Christian Higher Education Provider in Australia and I run a blog etc supporting Youth Workers. I have been working through what my call is and how best to achieve the mission. I have been pushing on every door that looks right and have only heard ‘not yet’. Recently it has started to change. Now I am hearing ‘it’s amost time’. Your openness and candour in this episode reminded me that it is not in my time but His. Thanks for your blessing to me.

    • Well thank you so much for commenting. I really appreciate the fact that you listened to the end and took the time to come all the way over here and share your thoughts. It’s almost time indeed and that will change to an “it’s time”. When you feel that nudge, jump! 😉
