Thank you Yaro and Gideon for such a great site and fantastic videos. You are an inspiration! These are just what I needed, as I am still on blogger and have domains ready and waiting to go for my new wordpress blogs - but still learning and finding the best plugins, creating my own themes with some great blog design software (rapidnichewebsites), and learning my way around hosting, FTP and cPanel - eek!

So many other videos out there are too basic and don’t show the whys and ins and outs, leaving a lot to still learn.

But your site is wonderful. Easy to navigate, lovely and clean on the eye, and lots of options. The videos are great quality and full of great info - I think I will have a look at Blip.tv too now :-)
All the best with this (I posted a comment on your Blog Traffic School Forum Yaro - in the guestbook about this - but I also want to thank Gideon too!)

Kind Regards

Absolutely brilliant videos! RSS feeds are handy for keeping update on your favorite authors, bloggers, and websites. I like using them to update my websites automatically whenever I write a new post on my blog.

Dirty little secret:

You can also use RSS feeds in conjunction with Google Reader to “spy” on your competiors; Whenever they come out with a new product you will know. RSS is a great way to stay updated to news in your industry.

Thanks again Yaro,

Rob

Hi Yaro,

Thank you for your free video tutorials.

Somehow I have been watching the tutorials
for the last few days, but while I was watching,
the videos, it always tend to stop in the midst of
my watching or else it just take a long time for
me to complete watching a single video.
I have done what I was told by looking at your
“Video Not Working’.

Until now, I am still unable to enjoy your free
tutorials. Perhaps you could advise me about it.

I am really looking forward to your free tutorials.
(FYI I’m stillunable to view it in complete ).

Thank you!

Regards,
irene

Hi Irene

I’ve just checked the video, and I found the same problem.

Here’s how I fixed it:

1. I cleaned out my internet cache including the cookies
2. And then I refreshed the page

After I did this, the video seemed to play fine again.

I think it could have something to do with the video sharing service that we are using.

In any case, give that a go, and see if it works for you.

Let me know if you have any other problems ok?

I sooo expected to find out how to intsall an rss feed to my blog thru this video. I didn’t. The information *in* the video is great, but I didn’t find what I needed.

Gideon Shalwick Reply:

Hey Daria

Have you watched video 10 yet?

Cos that shows you how to install an rss feed to your blog.

I need to update the video slightly because Google has bought Feedburner, and there are a few small changes with the signup process.

But the overall principals should stay pretty much the same.

All the best!

Hi Gideon.

Very informative video.
A little question please, how do I
unsubscribe from the RSS feed?

Thanks,

J

Hi Gideon,
I have been avoiding RSS like the plague for years. The reason being: It wasn’t obvious to me what this “new stuff” is all about and why I would want to use it.I had the sites bookmarked that I used most and that was all I needed.
With your explanation it has become a lot clearer. Thank you for producing such outstanding tutorials!
What I didn’t see mentioned is how my RSS feeds can help my website(s) get external links. Might be interesting for others too.
Thanks again and all the best!
