In today’s episode, I talk about a change that is VERY current – a change that if you are into internet marketing, you should pay attention to.
Over the last week or so, Google has announced Google Search Plus Your World, an effort that tightly integrates Google+ into the search results in ways never before seen.
Because of these changes, I believe that we need to start taking Google+ more seriously.
If you care about SEO, which can result in a ton of traffic to your site, you should care about these changes, because they will impact you directly!
I talk about all these details in this episode, and give recommendations as to how to move forward.
It’s still early in the game, so those who move quickly WILL have a competitive advantage.

Yeah, finally a new post. And as so often in the last weeks the subject is absolutely right for me. Just decided I need to get into google+ a few days ago! Gonna listen soon.
Haha, yeah I know. I took a little break from podcasting last week. Google is really doing some interesting things that I believe is changing the game. Let me know what you think after listening
Yep, they are smart. I do anticipate that the FTC might step in at some point. There are a lot of concerns out there that Google is getting too powerful. Now that they are promoting their properties above everyone else, that affects their competition in serious ways. We’ll see how it all comes together.
I will probably be talking about G+ more in the future, as I learn and figure things out.
But for right now, we might as well ride the waves
Leslie, Google + is definite building up some momentum, especially the way everything is all interlinked with each other, its becoming a form of an online passport… What do you think @lesliesamuel. ?
@wasimalrayes Most definitely. I think that we’ll see big things from them in 2012. They are growing rapidly, and with everything interlinked, it has the potential for big things. Then, with Google Wallet, I think that we’ll see us depending on Google even more. It’s kinda cool (and scary at the same time).

I was on Google +, but I had no idea that you could create a page for your website on it, so thanks a ton for that! I already had mine up for my site before I even finished the podcast.
Made me laugh to see Mark Zuckerberg on Google +!
Like Rochelle said there’s tons of value in this episode already, and if the Google + thing pans out, the amount of value in this episode will just sky rocket.
I’m also curious to see if some government body like the FTC will step in.

Yes, it will be interesting to see IF the FTC steps in. Google is a behemoth, and they are just getting bigger and bigger, and more POWERFUL.

Been there for a few months, but have just not logged on in quite a while now. Somehow I’m not so keen on Google+ any longer because I can’t broadcast certain posts to all of Google+ like I can do with certain tweets on Twitter when I post them with a hashtag. If only one could use hashtags on Google+
Yes, there certainly are some differences. I’ve been on there for a while two, but I’m just starting to take them seriously. It’s hard not to with all of the things they are doing to feature their own properties more. We’ll see how this all pans out! I know I’ll be watching
